SummerSlam... 2013 - Triple H swerve helps Randy Orton win WWE title !!
Do you like this story?
The best swerves begin with subtle hints.
One of the best examples of this is the 1995 film, "The Usual Suspects," starring Kevin Spacey, which has one of the best film swerves of all time. Before we find out that Verbal Kint and Keyser Soze are the same man (played by Spacey), we see subtle hints throughout the film -- for one, the names. It is revealed that Keyser Soze is from Turkey, and "Soze" in Turkish means someone who talks a lot. His alter ego's name is "Verbal."
When Triple H made his way to the ring to referee the match between John Cena and Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, he did so to the tune of his much rarer entrance theme "King of Kings."
